The Bible tells us that every Christian is called to minister to others in some way. At Salem, we place a high priority on helping members discover how God has created them with unique personalities and spiritual gifts. We help members get plugged in to ministries through which they can use their gifts. So, most of the ministry at Salem is accomplished through ministry teams. These teams include:

The Long Range Planning Ministry is a ministry that provides future vision for the Salem Church. A group of individuals gets together a number of times throughout the year to discern what is happening in the world surrounding us, and how God is calling us to respond that we may build His kingdom.

Singles Ministry
At Salem, we are pleased to support the biblical model of pastors (elders) who lead and deacons who serve in the church. We currently have six individuals (three men, three women) who serve the Lord and serve the church family as deacons. They are led by our lay leader, Wilber Sites, who is a retired pastor and retired Bishop of the United Brethren in Christ church.

Salem offers Sunday School for all ages from 9:30 to 10:30 on Sunday mornings.
