The Bible says “without a vision, the people perish.” Today, we see many churches that are declining, even closing forever.

Here at Salem, we have a vision. We are eager to know and discern what God is doing today, and to be faithful to God’s vision for this church and its ministry to the community. Here are a few highlights of our vision: We see Salem as a place where:

• Healthy, vibrant relationships are cultivated with God, and with one another.
• The Word of God (the Bible) remains at the center of what is taught, believed, and lived.
• The timeless truths of God’s word are presented in fresh and relevant ways through music, drama, and multi-media presentations.
• All of God’s people learn to love and accept and support one another in our uniqueness. We are not a church that ‘caters’ to one demographic group. We are a family.
• Every professing Christian finds a place in mission and ministry. We help people find ways to reach out, to bring light into an increasingly darkened world.
