Every church denomination (or non-denomination) and every individual church holds to a set of beliefs. Here are some of the beliefs we hold as important as United Brethren, and as Christian believers:
We believe in the only True God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them.
We believe that Jesus Christ, who although a man, was also fully God. We believe he was born of a virgin, died on the cross, rose again, and ascended to heaven, and will one day return to this world.
We believe that salvation and forgiveness of sins comes through true repentance, personal faith in Christ, and commitment to follow Him as Lord.
We believe the Holy Bible, both Old and New Testament, is the Word of God.
We believe in the Holy Christian church, the communion of the saints (true believers) the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.

As a local church, we also have some things we feel are truly important to agree upon for the life and health of the congregation:
Unity. A church filled with conflict cannot demonstrate to the world the love of Christ. So we seek unity and peace among our church family.
Growing. We believe being a disciple of Christ is a life-long journey of growth. So we teach the Word of God, and encourage all to learn and grow.
Seeking the Lost. We believe our highest calling is to fulfill the great commission, calling the unsaved to faith in Christ.
Workers. We believe being a Christian is more than a Sunday morning commitment. It is a lifestyle of Christian work and witness. We therefore develop workers for God’s kingdom at Salem.
