Our Tri-fold Mission: Be Witnesses of Jesus’ love, Reach the Lost, Make Disciples.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost” (Luke 19:10).
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20).

At Salem, we follow a loosely organized process to encourage God’s children to come to the fullness of knowledge, power, grace, and Christian action. The steps may not occur in the order presented below, but as the Holy Spirit leads and directs in the life of the believer:
KNOW Christ, evidenced by worshiping him regularly, being baptized in submission to God, and becoming a member of Christ’s body.
GROW in Christ, evidenced by searching for and becoming involved in opportunities for personal and group study of God’s Word.
SERVE Christ, evidenced by discerning God’s call and following one’s spiritual gifts, abilities, passion, and experiences into an area of active ministry among God’s people and among the unbelievers in the world.
SHARE Christ, evidenced by actively developing relationships with unbelievers, praying for them and seeking opportunities to share the Good News of Jesus with them.
Our sermons, Sunday school, family night groups, and home mentoring groups curriculum support these goals. In addition, we offer spiritual counseling, gift discernment, and mapping into ministry for those needing guidance in their journey with Christ. As we mature our process, we will focus extensively on discipleship in small groups, in mentoring groups, and in one on one, person to person discipling relationships. Our goal: internally motivated, maturing, replicating followers of Jesus Christ.
